GBV
  • GBV is violence linked to the ‘gendered’ identity. i.e. a man/woman is faced with violence because of his/her social identity/gender
  • Both women and men experience gender-based violence
  • Women & girls are affected by GBV more than men and boys because they are at a higher and more frequent risk of GBV, and also suffer exacerbated consequences in comparison to men and boys
